Service Workers at Your Service

Michal Gregor & Martin Farkaš

Duration: 3h
Max. audience: 10 - 15
Price: 20 €
Wednesday, October 31

Do you want to speed up your web application or make it work offline? We will show you how to take first steps toward PWA using Service Worker. Service Worker is on the rise but a lot of developers are still hesitating to use it. This year Safari joined other major browsers with at least basic support so you can start using Service Worker across the web. It is a simple layer between your web app and backend. You will get a simple web application which is online first and during the workshop you will make it offline first by only adding a Service Worker implementation.
